What is the Low Carbon Business Network?

The Low Carbon Business Network works with small and medium sized businesses in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire (D2N2) to make energy savings and grow the supply of low carbon goods and services across the region.

The project is a collaboration between the University of Derby Business School, the Institute for Innovation in Sustainable Engineering (IISE) and Derby City Council and Derbyshire County Council. It is partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds growth programme 2014-2020.

IISE offers low carbon product research and development, the Business School provides low carbon business development and the councils provide grants for energy efficiency measures.
