Following the Sustainability Summit 2019 and collecting feedback about the Clean Growth Challenge.
Having analysed the feedback responses and having considered the policy and regulatory landscape in the region, we are pleased to announce the creation of two working groups, namely:

Smart Cities and Sustainable Development
In this working group, we will be working towards providing a first-hand business response and consultations on the various smart city initiatives in D2N2 LEP area and beyond. It will also support ideas exchange, innovation, collaborations and potential partnerships in these broad areas: smart building and infrastructure; smart transport and mobility; smart planning, design and construction; smart utilities and facilities; smart environment; smart governance and policy; smart people and living; and smart services.

Local Industrial Strategy and Skills
This working group is a platform for communication and collaborative work across policy, regulatory, public and business communities to advance contribution and initiatives in supporting key priority areas of the strategy: productive and growing business; skills and knowledge for the future; and quality of place. The scope of activity of this working group is about projecting the voice of business community in relation to the development and implementation of the Local Industrial Strategy 2019-2030 http://www.d2n2lep.org/write/Vision2030.pdf
