Phase 2 of the Low Carbon Project

The Low Carbon Business Network is part of the wider D2EE Low Carbon Project, which is a collaboration between the University of Derby, Derby City and Derbyshire County Councils.  The Project started back in 2016 and was due to end on 31 October 2019.  However, we are pleased to announce that following a successful application we have been approved a continuation of the Project, we are referring to this as Phase 2.

Phase 2 will bring a slightly different range of support to our businesses, we will provide more information about this within the next few weeks and more of an update at the Autumn Networking Meeting.

IEMA Awards 2019

We have more good news!  The Low Carbon Project has been shortlisted for the IEMA Award for ‘Consultancy and Collaboration’.

The IEMA Sustainability Impact Awards recognise the people and businesses that are transforming the world to sustainability.  Launched by IEMA, the professional body for everyone working in environment and sustainability, the awards showcase the achievements of organisations striving to meet IEMA’s global sustainability standards.

Fingers crossed we raise the trophy at the Awards Ceremony on 20 September, either way, this is a massive achievement to be recognised at this national level.
