Sustainability Summit
Energy efficiency and competitiveness through responsible supply chains
The Low Carbon Business Network is hosting a Sustainability Summit on 7th March 2018 at the Riverside Centre, Derby, with the East Midlands Chamber.
We are now shifting into a realm where being an energy efficient and sustainable business is something which once viewed as nice to have, and an add-on, to something which is much more essential to becoming an attractive and competitive proposition. As customers are becoming more discernible as to where they spend their money it is imperative that we explore how the East Midlands business community can develop strategies and business practices that put them ahead of the competition.
The event is being delivered in Partnership with, University of Derby, Derby City Council and Derbyshire County Council through the D2EE ERDF project.
AGENDA
The full agenda is to be confirmed in the coming weeks, however topics will include an exploration of the current landscape of the low carbon goods and environmental services in the region, how large procurers now expect their suppliers to become more responsible and energy efficient and how we build the business case to become energy efficient, sustainable and a more responsible business community.
